Flag Officer Assignments

DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE, PRESS OPERATIONS (AUG. 21, 2015)

The Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan W. Greenert announced today the following assignments:
Rear Adm. (lower half) Jesse A. Wilson Jr., will be assigned as commander, Carrier Strike Group Ten, Norfolk, Virginia. Wilson is currently serving as director, Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization, Arlington, Virginia.
Capt. Daniel V. MacInnis, selected for promotion to rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as reserve deputy commander, Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland. MacInnis is currently serving as commanding officer, Navy Reserve Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, California.

Wetherald is currently serving as commander, Expeditionary Strike Group Seven; and commander, Amphibious Force, U.S. Seventh Fleet, Okinawa, Japan.
